I work in the health care field as a registered nurse and it can be tough most days. So mental fortitude is absolutely necessary.
On my morning commute, this phrase: “Today is going to be a good day.” is my morning mantra that I repeat a few times over and over to myself to prepare for a long, physically and mentally strenuous work day.
This phrase has helped change my perception of what seemingly could have been a “bad day” and turned it into an actually not so bad day on countless occasions.
